- Complete the official nomination form
- Read, note and address the General Information
and Category Guidelines
- Using the Category Guidelines determine the most
suitable category (nominees may enter more than
one category, however, we require a separate application
for each nomination)
- Your nomination should incorporate up to 2,000
words, addressing the guidelines listed for the relevant
Award category. The nomination should clearly demonstrate
the achievements of the nominee.
- Attach copies of relevant newspaper articles,
awards, certificates, photographs etc (remember
not to send originals or more than 30 pages in total)
- Provide four different labeled photographs. They
need to be recent, clear and relevant to your application.
(All individual nominees must also include one headshot).
- Provide a separate 100 word summary of achievements
for publicity purposes
- A full A4 single-sided unbound photocopy of the
entire nomination (each page submitted), including
photos, must also be forwarded with the nomination.

- Entry is free and open to individuals, businesses,
groups or organisations.
- Entrants must be Australian citizens, organisations or companies.
- Entrants must reside in Tasmania and have done
so for a minimum of two years.
- Entries must show achievements with positive outcomes
for the local community and/or State.
- Please address relevant guidelines and provide any supporting documents or photographs.
- All submitted nominations and supporting material remain the property of Awards Australia and will not be returned.
- Judges will select three category finalists and one category winner for each category.
- The judge’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
- Entrants must agree to any local, state or national marketing and media publicity.
- Finalists are required to attend the gala awards presentation ceremony.
- Supporting sponsors are ineligible to enter.
- Submissions must be received prior to the nomination
closing date.
