Entry guidelines :

· Enclose a separate 100 word “highlights of achievements” summary
· Up to 2,000 words addressing the relevant guidelines and including all relevant information about the achievements.
· Support material and references relevant to the nomination and achievements
· 4 different photos of the nominee
· The nomination in total should not be more than 30 pages in total
· Please enclose with the nomination, one full photocopy of each page of the nomination
· One full photocopy of each page of the nomination

Tamar Valley Dairy Business Enterprise Award
· Brief background and history of the business
· Description of products and/or services provided
· Description of business financial success and viability
· Involvement with wider industry groups, networks or associations
· Staff training and development if applicable
· Examples of recent business achievements or performance success
· Marketing and promotional initiatives
· Source of funding and Budgets if applicable
· Business/staff community activity and involvement
· Financial contribution back to community projects or activities
· Barriers or difficulties and how they have been overcome

Prime Super Events and Tourism Award
· Description of community event or tourism project
· Why this event or project was established and when
· Details of the development or growth of the event or project
· Details of the organisation/s responsible for establishing the event or project and their ongoing role
· Number of people involved in running/supporting the event
· Level of support for the event or project from the business and broader community
· Barriers or difficulties and how they have been overcome
· Impact of the event or project – demonstrated benefits the event or project has provided to the organisers, participants, local businesses and the broader community

MAIB Disability Achievement Award
· Describe your disability and it’s effects on your daily activity
· Describe your barriers and difficulties and how you deal with them
· Describe your community connections
· How you contribute to your community. List the organisation/s that you support and in what capacity (if applicable)

Volunteering Tasmania Volunteer Management Award
· List the number and age range of volunteers
· List the activities undertaken by volunteers
· Describe how your organisation achieves best practice i.e.
    o Clear policies and procedures for managing volunteers;
    o Recruitment processes that are fair and transparent and volunteers receive a thorough induction;
    o Volunteers work in a healthy and safe environment;
    o Volunteers receive appropriate training and skill development.

Ricoh Business Centre Environment and Sustainability Award

Heather and Christopher Chong Outstanding Achiever Award
· Describe your achievements and field of endeavour

Angove Family Winemakers Primary Industries and Agriculture Award

Nomination tips:
  1. Complete the official nomination form

  2. Read, note and address the General Information and Category Guidelines

  3. Using the Category Guidelines determine the most suitable category (nominees may enter more than one category, however, we require a separate application for each nomination)

  4. Your nomination should incorporate up to 2,000 words, addressing the guidelines listed for the relevant Award category. The nomination should clearly demonstrate the achievements of the nominee.

  5. Attach copies of relevant newspaper articles, awards, certificates, photographs etc (remember not to send originals or more than 30 pages in total)

  6. Provide four different labeled photographs. They need to be recent, clear and relevant to your application. (All individual nominees must also include one headshot).

  7. Provide a separate 100 word summary of achievements for publicity purposes

  8. A full A4 single-sided unbound photocopy of the entire nomination (each page submitted), including photos, must also be forwarded with the nomination.

Conditions of Entry:
  • Entry is free and open to individuals, businesses, groups or organisations.

  • Entrants must be Australian citizens, organisations or companies.

  • Entrants must reside in Tasmania and have done so for a minimum of two years.

  • Entries must show achievements with positive outcomes for the local community and/or State.

  • Please address relevant guidelines and provide any supporting documents or photographs.

  • All submitted nominations and supporting material remain the property of Awards Australia and will not be returned.

  • Judges will select three category finalists and one category winner for each category.

  • The judge’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

  • Entrants must agree to any local, state or national marketing and media publicity.

  • Finalists are required to attend the gala awards presentation ceremony.

  • Supporting sponsors are ineligible to enter.

  • Submissions must be received prior to the nomination closing date.
