The Regional Achievement and Community Awards will be awarded
to a maximum of six recipients. These Awards in New
South Wales/ACT, Victoria,
Queensland and Western
Australia we envisage these awards to be developed over
the next five years to become the most sought-after, prestigious
and publicly recognized regional awards program in New South
Wales/ACT, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.
The Regional Achievement & Community Awards have five categories. Please see applicable state for details.
Each category will have one award except for The Community of the Year Award which has two awards divided by a population (see state page for details).
There will be six winners and to acknowledge and encourage the widest possible field, each category will have three finalists (18 finalists).
The purpose of these awards are to encourage, acknowledge and reward valuable contributions and outstanding achievements in regional and rural areas. The focus of the awards will be small to medium size businesses, organisations involved in promoting the community through events and tourism, individuals providing leadership and initiative and community groups enhancing the social, economic, commercial and environmental prosperity of their region.
All nominees for the program will receive a certificate of nomination!
